For more than 20 years Patricia Weiland, Principle of Sage Strategies, has been helping people create marketing solutions and streamline systems for extraordinary results, enjoy their business, with less effort while having more fun. Keeping an eye on increased revenue, Sage Strategies introduces objective communication strategies and evidence-based behavioral principals aligning individuals and team members to growing revenue.

Patricia began her path to sales and marketing success at age 16 when her father needed convincing to entrust the family car to her on a Friday night. From there, she followed her path of business communications to both internal and external messaging. Weiland found her way to premiere brands in consumer products; 3M, CBS, General Mills, Mattel, Nestle and Walt Disney Company.

Weiland was intrigued why these giant brands that had such solid integrity outside had had unhappy employees in the workplace. Working on “high profile, time pressured” projects was the norm. Asked once, “What’s so funny about doing business at General Mills?” The answer was obvious, “nothing.” In search for understanding, she studied conflict in the creative environment and found some answers in grad school at Fielding Graduate University’s Human Organizational Development Department. She now brings business marketing and behavioral change experience and theory to consult with companies who want to learn and earn more.

Patricia’s keynote speeches, seminars, books, audios, and other learning resources have helped companies transform their definitions of corporate culture, and strategic plans to where individual choose to create "more fun" in their lives.

Weiland writes and works from her home in California, where she loves cooking for family and friends, anything at the beach, skiing and making jewelry.

With more than 10 years dedicated to improving organizational capability and professional effectiveness, Kris is one of the field’s up and coming stars.  His energy and passion for moving people forward with a sound understanding of business results has made him a quick success working with leaders in the high-tech, gaming, and social networking industries.  Kris’ specialty is in the areas of change management, employee communications, and organization development.

Kris has always believed that in order to truly be effective as a consultant, coach, and leader then one must be able to blend theory and application within a larger system that is unique for each organization or individual.  This belief has propelled Kris to pursue a life dedicated to learning.  He has graduate degrees from the top universities in Psychology and Human Resources as well as certifications in Change Management, Situational Leadership, Phillips ROI Methodology, and is currently finishing the Evidence-Based Coaching Certification through Fielding Graduate University.

Currently living in Santa Monica, California with his wife where he enjoys surfing, wine, and spending time with friends, Kris hails from the Midwest where he grew up learning the virtues of leadership on the farm from his grandfather.  Core to those virtues were respect, integrity, and perseverance.

Kim Tedford is a coach and workshop producer with twenty years of experience in marketing communications project leadership. That's two decades of delivering successful, complex, promotional programs to high profile and demanding clients. Kim’s natural consultative style helps diffuse emotional turmoil and inspire personal excellence in diverse, changing environments. As a coach, Kim supports client’s natural inclination to evolve by dismantling old paradigms and empowering expanded visions for personal and professional success. As a workshop producer, Kim helps individuals and organizations align values-driven goals with behavior and policies to bridge performance gaps.

Kim has great passion for bringing people and organizations to their creative center. She has sought tools and educational pathways to reawaken this connection. Believing we are powerful creators with a purpose, Kim seeks to enliven her client’s passion, align it with purpose, and meet external demands through personal meaning.

Kim Tedford has a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies and is in final stages of thesis completion to earn a Master of Arts in Human Development. Michael Hess brings twenty years of media production to working to his role as Principle of Alacran Media. Formally educated at San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Film and Video Production Michael has continuous passion for using those skills as a tool for learning. He continues to evolve his practice as technology advances while retaining those tried and true processes and foundation that works capturing timeless treasures and educational tools for those clients seeking to reach further in their careers. Through a myriad of training sessions, instructional videos and live events Michael has documented speakers of all ability levels. This has provided him with an accumulated wisdom and unique and valuable perspective on presentation and speaking skills.

Clients come from a broad spectrum of industry, medical, and educational institutions, and financial. He has been shooting (taping) speakers of all levels of expertise and with that experience he brings an experienced eye to all that he does. Alacran tapes a variety of live events, training videos, instructional videos, speaking engagements, personal events such as weddings, corporate presentations, college admission and job application reels. Michael has actively embraced Toastmasters and brought video graphing to the local chapter as a means to improve and document tips and tricks of excellence in speaking with technology.

Living in Santa Barbara California with his wife and young son Michael is firmly entrenched in the community. In his free time he enjoys the outdoors, camping and traveling to Baja, California.
